An annual event on the community calendar, Christmas at Parry Street.
Waahi Whaanui Trust welcome whanau to celebrate the Christmas season at their Parry Street complex. This has now become an annual event in both Waahi Whaanui's calendar and the community of Raahui Pookeka.
Our local social services providers were available to talk with whaanau. Education and employment providers were available to engage with whaanau.

Waahi Whaanui Trust's, Christmas at Parry Street promises to be a fun and enjoyable time for all whaanau. Come and enjoy an afternoon of fun and games, entertainment and prizes, yummy kai and stalls.
Embracing rangatahi: Waahi Whaanui welcome Ira Koopuu and Oranga Rangatahi.
Today Waahi Whaanui Trust welcomed Ira Koopu and Oranga Rangatahi to our whaanau. Both Ira Koopu and Oranga Rangatahi will utilise Te Whare Wai Ora for the mahi they do alongside Rangatahi.
Financial Capability: Empowering Whaanau for a Brighter Future
MoneyMates support groups are based around the concept of sharing and learning together as a group. This approach works in both large and small communities, as proven with programmes such as Weight Watchers. Facilitators encourage group members to learn from others, get control over their financial lives, and build resilience.
