Welcome to Ira Koopuu and Oranga Rangatahi
Today, 4 June 2024, Waahi Whaanui Trust welcomed Ira Koopu and Oranga Rangatahi to our whaanau. Both Ira Koopu and Oranga Rangatahi will utilise Te Whare Wai Ora for the mahi they do alongside Rangatahi.

Creating a rangatahi space for Raahui Pookeka
Te Whare Wai Ora receives its name due to it being situated with the Waikato Awa on one side and Lakes Puketirini and Waahi on the other. The naming of this whare also makes connection with Waahi Whaanui’s moto - Whenua Ora, Wai Ora, Whaanau Ora. If we look after our whenua and our wai, it in turn will look after our whaanau. This whare also provides 2 conference facilities, Puketirini and Rotoiti (The previous name of Lake Puketirini) These conference facilities can be utilised by contacting Waahi Whaanui Trust.
